Keeping Your Marketing System Working Year-Round

What maintenance actually means, how it works, and why it’s different from a full-service marketing retainer.

Why Maintenance Matters

Once your Google Business Profile, website, and seasonal ads are set up, the system is built,  but it still needs small adjustments throughout the year to stay visible.

You don’t need a big monthly marketing retainer.
You just need simple, practical maintenance that keeps your business findable.

Maintenance helps you:

• Stay visible in Google and AI search
• Keep your website accurate and up to date
• Refresh seasonal ads when demand shifts
• Keep reviews coming in
• Make sure Google doesn’t penalize outdated info
• Stay ahead of competitors without overspending

If your online presence is the “engine,” maintenance is the quick tune-up that keeps everything running.

What a Maintenance Plan IS

A maintenance plan gives you small, consistent updates that keep your system performing.
Nothing fancy, just what’s needed to stay found online.

Maintenance includes:

1. Google Business Profile updates

• New photos
• Seasonal hours
• New services added
• Post updates
• Review reply support
• Keyword adjustments

2. Website updates

• Service pages updated
• Photos added or refreshed
• Small text edits
• Fixed broken links
• SEO tune-ups
• New seasonal content added

3. AI + SEO refreshes

• Updated schema
• Updated headings/titles
• Keyword adjustments based on search trends
• Seasonal demand shifts

4. Seasonal ad tune-ups

• Update headlines
• Swap photos
• Adjust targeting
• Turn ads on or off
• Review performance

5. Monthly or quarterly oversight

• Quick review of trends
• Recommend adjustments
• Ensure the whole system stays connected

Maintenance is practical, affordable, and lightweight, built for small businesses that don’t need a full-time marketer.

What a Maintenance Plan Is NOT

Maintenance IS NOT:

• A full-service marketing retainer
• Daily social media posting
• Large ad budgets handled by a big team
• Full website rebuilds
• Branding or design services
• Complex multi-channel campaigns

Maintenance IS:

Small, consistent tune-ups that keep your visibility system healthy.

This is the key difference your clients will appreciate:
You’re not locking them into a heavy monthly contract.
You’re giving them exactly what they need — nothing more.

Why Maintenance Is So Important Today

Google, Wix, and AI search are changing constantly.

• Search trends shift
• Algorithm changes happen monthly
• Competitors outrank you if they update more often
• AI search platforms rewrite answer pages based on new content
• Schema needs refreshing
• New keywords appear in your industry
• Seasonal demand changes every year

If you don’t update, your visibility slowly slides.

Maintenance prevents that.

Who Maintenance Is For

Maintenance is ideal if:

• You already have your system set up
• You want steady visibility without overpaying
• You want help with seasonal changes
• You want someone to watch over your GBP or website
• You want updates but not a big retainer
• You want to stay competitive without spending thousands

If you’re a trades or service business, this is built for you.

FAQs

Q: How often do you make updates?
A: Monthly or quarterly, depending on your plan and business needs.

Q: Can I cancel anytime?
A: Yes, your maintenance plan is month-to-month.

Q: Do you manage my full social media?
A: No. Maintenance focuses on visibility, not content creation.

Q: Do you include paid ad budgets?
A: No, you pay Google/Meta directly. I handle setup, tuning, and adjustments of ad campaigns.

Q: Do I need maintenance if I just finished the 90-Day Growth System?
A: It’s recommended. Your system will be in strong shape after 90 days, and maintenance keeps it performing long-term.
